Human Resources Manager
Platinum Recruiting is working one of the Okanagan’s largest full-service security firms that offers a wide range of mobile/stationary security services, including perimeter guarding. Located in Kelowna, our client is looking for a full-time Human Resource Manager that is innovative and knowledgeable.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Designs, implements, and evaluates recruitment and retention strategies
- Tracks and reports vacancies by job classification and location
- Take control of developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and practices (working together with the Operations Manager)
- Interprets and advises on provincial employment labor relation legislation including employment standards, BC labor code, OHS, Worksafe BC, and privacy legislation
- Payroll
- Executing an effective performance management program that supports the corporate vision and philosophy
- Staffing, scheduling, attendance, and coordinating employee benefits program
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- 5 years HR Generalist Experience
- A Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management
- CPHR Designation is an asset
