Are you an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant looking for a new and exciting position? This could be your chance to join an established litigation law firm, working out of their West Kelowna office.

This role will be the perfect opportunity for you to use your knowledge and experience of Insurance Defence, Commercial Litigation and Personal Injury Litigation.

Your regular duties will be in line with your previous Legal Administrative Assistant positions including drafting documents and correspondence, assisting the Lawyers and Paralegals with the Bring Forward (BF) system for limitation dates and follow-up actions, schedule court proceedings and independent evaluations as well as liaising with clients, experts, witnesses and opposing council.

This role will require you to have worked as a Legal Administrative Assistant for over 3 years, ideally in Civil Litigation, Insurance Defence or Personal Injury and to have completed a Certificate or Diploma in a recognized Legal Administrative Program.

It goes without saying that you will have outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal) and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and preferably experience with PC Law.

The salary of this position is dependent on your experience and proficiency (within reason) and offers a benefits package that include MSP, dental and extended health as well as a fitness subsidy.
