Are you an experienced Full-Cycle Bookkeeper, with exceptional attention to detail, looking for a new part time position or additional hours to supplement your existing work week? This could be your opportunity to join a well-established company based in Lake Country, who are looking to bring in an experienced part time Bookkeeper who showcases a positive attitude and is team oriented. This position would require 2 days per week.
The Role –
This position would see you utilizing your full-cycle bookkeeping experience for invoicing, bank reconciliation, monitor customer accounts for non-payment/delayed, collections, accounts payable, month-end and year-end reporting procedures, process bi-weekly payroll and monthly expense reports through EFT, on-line bill payments, remit GST and payroll deductions to CRA, process ROE’s and T4’s & T5’s, budget forecasting reports in Excel , prepare property operating statements in Excel and potentially other special financial projects.

This opportunity could see you working for a company in the real estate industry that has been operating for nearly 40 years. You would be working with a family run team in a business casual office setting in-house.
Skills and Experience –
A Certificate or Diploma in Business Accounting would be an asset. We are looking for a minimum of 5 years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience with strong knowledge of Sage 50. It goes without saying you would have exceptional computer literacy, especially with Excel. You will have knowledge of trial balances, general ledger databases, financial statement close processes, preparing T4s and T5s as well as knowledge of corporate tax and general accounting principles.
The Package –
For this position, you will be working 2 days per week between the hours of 9 to 5. The hourly rate of pay will be dependent on your level of experience, in the range of $25-35 per hour.
