This is a Non-Profit Organisation based in West Kelowna, Central Okanagan which has very close ties with the Government and Indigenous/First Nation organisations and people with a background in this is highly beneficial but not essential.
Skills and experience-
This position will see you using your 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience on a daily basis for the processing of Accounts payables, distribution of invoices and cheques as well as filing of paid invoices, processing of GST remittances as well as rebates and monthly reviews of Accounts Receivables.
If you have experience of using Quick books it is preferred but if you are able to demonstrated the ability to learn new accounting software programs quickly and have a solid knowledge of Bookkeeping or accounting standards/principles then we want to hear from you.
With the standard working week of 37.5 hours Monday to Friday and an annual salary of $44,850 per annum this is an incredible opportunity to use your knowledge and skills where you can really make a difference.
