The role –

It comes as no surprise that this role will be working heavily with the creation and updating of the company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), producing Quality Assurance documentation maintaining regulatory standards, reviewing Raw Material certificate analysis. And performing in house testing and calibration.

Other duties entail the continuing support of the quality department with the qualification of equipment and systems as well as creating protocols, line inspections, and performing pH, temperature and conductivity meters checks.

With this position, the hours may vary and candidates will need to be flexible on their availability as working hours may range from earlier in the morning starts to as late as 10:00 pm with rare occasion to work a day on weekend when needed. (Standard work week will be between 37.5 and 40 hours).

Skills & Experience –

If you have experience in a previous Quality role within a manufacturing environment then this is highly advantageous but should you have a degree in a Science related field, strong organization skills, attention to detail and some documentation experience and the drive to start your career in Quality.

Due to the nature of the Cannabis industry, a clean criminal record is required and with the site location a driver’s license is also needed.

If you have a background in quality then your knowledge and experience of creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), ensuring the quality, integrity and business objectives of the company are maintained and assisting with in house Audits will be fully utilized in this role.

Compensation Package –

This position is offering a hourly rate of up to $26.44ph (depending on experience), benefits 80/20 split including Critical Illness, paid holiday and more perks.
