Our client in the fresh produce industry is seeking a highly-skilled and motivated individual to take on the role of Domestic Business Development. Employing over 500 staff within multiple facilities, the organization represents hundreds of produce growers throughout the Okanagan.
The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing business opportunities throughout North America for the organization. Primary duties include identifying these key business opportunities, building and maintaining successful relationships with prospects and existing clients, collaborating with executives on business strategy to determine objectives, evaluating current business performance and maximizing business reach and potential.
The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B sales, as well as skills related to strategic analysis and marketing. While the role is based in downtown Kelowna, travel throughout North America is required for this position. Standard hours for this full-time permanent role are Monday-Friday, with the occasional evening/weekend as needed.
