Overview

Are you an experienced Auto Body Shop Manager or an Assistant Manager/Supervisor looking for your next step to a manager position? The company –

You could be working for an established multi brand body shop that services it’s private customers in Kelowna but also supports some of the main automotive dealership in town allowing for a diverse project base of vehicles.

With a strong team of experienced staff, you are coming into a great environment but also the scope and space to further develop your team and grow your business.

The role –

It goes without saying that as an Automotive Body Shop Manager you will be overseeing the day to day operations of the site including producing estimates for repairs, managing the team’s workload and allocation, manage customer experience and expectations and ensuring quality of service provided.

Additional duties entail performing performance assessments of your team, ensuring a safe work environment, and that all staff are fully trained on the proper use of all tools and equipment.

Skills & Experience –

It should come as no surprise that you will need at least 2 years of experience in providing estimations for the Automotive industry as well as the technical knowledge of crash collision repairs. Being experienced with Audatex and Mitchell estimating is highly desired as well as having the working knowledge and experience of dealing with ICBC.

(A valid BC drivers license is required for this position).

Compensation package –

Along with a competitive base salary based on your experience, there is a commission bonus structure as well, so the more you do and grow the site the more you will earn! On top of the pay, you are eligible for the benefits including Extended Health and Medical and paid holiday.

This is a full-time permanent position (generally Monday to Friday but may require extended hours including weekends to meet deadlines) and the company is happy to consider candidates looking to relocate to the amazing Okanagan.
