Our client, a superior commercial cleaning company that services the Okanagan, Interior, Lower Mainland, and Alberta, is currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the staff and the overall management of the business contracts across the Okanagan region and beyond.

What you will be expected to do:

· Define, document, and implement Business Operations processes as it relates to the organization

· Facilitate conversations and work in collaboration with Head Office, Finance, Sales and Working Supervisors to ensure alignment to company overall strategy

· Lead the implementation, change management, and adaptation of operational initiatives (which may include technology and tools) in collaboration with the President

· Consult with leaders to identify and summarize internal, operational business challenges, evaluate priority and scope, and provide recommendations directly to the President

· Establish a structure and cadence to analyze existing business processes, leveraging knowledge of company internal policies and procedures, and recommend areas for improvement and opportunities to help drive operational efficiencies

· Staffing for new contracts, set up supply orders, train staff on scope and follow up with clients as needed to maintain customer satisfaction

· Perform other related duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will have:

· Long standing experience in an Operations, Finance, and/or Project Management role. Education in accounting, business administration, or similar would be an asset.

· Experience in the commercial cleaning industry is required.

· Process/Project Management: skilled at figuring out and managing the processes and timelines necessary to get the work accomplished

· Problem Solving: uses an organized and logical approach to find solutions to complex problems. Able to look beyond the obvious to understand the root cause of problems

· Negotiation: Successfully obtains commitment to a solution or idea, while maintain integrity and relationships

· Customer Focused: demonstrates a desire to proactively help and serve internal/external customers to meet their needs

· Influence: Asserts company ideas and persuades others, gaining support and commitment and mobilizing of our people to take action

· Hands-on management style
