The role –
This position will see you using your experience using an ERP system as well as being hands on in the stores/warehouse of an organization where you will be handling and storing raw materials, issuing items, performing cycle counts and investigate errors, producing batch records and reports.
Other duties will include assisting with Shipping & Receiving, operating the forklift and other relevant equipment, goods inwards inspection, working with the quality, finance and purchasing departments to support the business.
Skills and Experience –
It goes without saying that you will have worked in a similar environment (stores, warehouse) and have a few years of hands-on experience with inventory control and knowledge of an ERP system. Having a keen eye for detail and an analytical approach works well for this position and will use your strong written skills for presentations and report writing.
Due to the type of role and the regulated industry of the client, you must be able to pass a criminal records check. It is advantageous to have a current forklift license but not essential. As with any role in the warehouse/stores, you will be physically moving stock and needing to be able to lift and move up to 50lbs, be comfortable working indoors and outdoors, as well as in the office and on the shop floor.
