They are located in Vernon area of BC.
Skills and experience:
It goes without saying that as an experienced Corporate Legal Assistant/ Paralegal you will have processing annual reports, completed basic corporate documentation, such as changes in directors, share issuances, transfers, repurchases and redemptions and performed online filings via ALF, BC Online, and Corporations Canada.
You will be working closely with other legal assistants, paralegals, lawyers and clients on file progress, you would also be preparing, sending and following up on all corporate client accounts as well as general administrative duties as required.
For this role you will need a minimum of 1 year of experience as a corporate Legal Assistant/ Paralegal (the more the better) and have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, BC Online and Legal software such as PC Law.
As with any role like this, you are able to prioritize a high volume of tasks and completing priorities with your excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong verbal and written communications skills.
It is preferred that you have a certificate in either Legal Administration or Paralegal for this role.
This is a full time permanent position based completely in the office of the client (no remote working at this time) and is offering a competitive wage (depending on experience) and a strong benefits package.
